The Status Classification Protocol

Why we use clear, unambiguous statuses instead of guessing the teams on the field.

Our Three Standard Watchboard States

Unlike standard sports schedules that combine active paths with predictions, the Dottibrowseo Watchboard segregates the knockout bracket strictly using 3 clear states. This eliminates guess-work and ensures users are instantly aware of physical realities.

State 1

Confirmed Round of 16 Match

Definition: Both competing national teams have successfully won their corresponding Round of 32 ties. The kickoff date, kickoff time, and the match pairings are completely determined and final.

Example in Snapshot: Canada vs Morocco is currently the only Match in State 1.

State 2

Confirmed Team / Pending Opponent

Definition: One country has booked its slot in the Round of 16, but its opponent is still waiting for their Round of 32 fixture to play out. The placeholder reflects the pending unplayed pairing.

Example in Snapshot: Brazil is confirmed; its opponent (winner of Ivory Coast vs Norway) is pending.

State 3

Both Round of 32 Winners Pending

Definition: Neither competitor has been decided. Both slots reference upcoming Round of 32 matches. This is a purely structural layout displaying future pathways.

Example in Snapshot: The match on July 6 between the winner of Portugal vs Croatia and the winner of Spain vs Austria.
